This exhilarating one-of-a-kind event, presented by Samuel Dixon Family Health Center, was curated over 20 years ago by dedicated board of directors and volunteers with the sole purpose of raising funds to support essential health care services for individuals and families in need. What started out in a backyard, grew to larger venues at Castaic Lake and Bridgeport Park to its current location at the Santa Clarita Aquatic Center. Although the venue has changed throughout the years, the goal has remained the same as more individuals and families are experiencing the challenges of receiving essential health care services, particularly during these difficult economic times. Over the last four decades, SDFHC has been a pillar in the community, offering high-quality, culturally sensitive, affordable, and accessible primary care, dental, and behavioral health services aimed at addressing the critical healthcare needs of individuals and families who lack access to basic medical services.
Join us on Sunday, October 6th for a day fun-filled day at the Santa Clarita Aquatic Center cooling off in the water park, visiting our vendors and watching thousands of rubber ducks race. Admission is a $5 duck race entry per person. All race entries will receive a unique number and will race in multiple heats for a chance to be the Grand Prize winner!
